Vietnamese Children's Wheelchair and Prosthetics Group
The purpose of The Vietnamese Children’s Wheelchair and Prosthetics Group is to address the needs of disadvantaged children and adults in all the provinces of Vietnam, and to play a role in the advancement of the lives of these children and adults by supplying wheelchairs and prosthetics to allow better mobility and self respect in their lives.
The Group will seek to strengthen consultative relationships with the people of the United States and with the people of Vietnam. The Committee will also review the work of other needy facilities in Vietnam from the aspect of integration of some of our programs with their needs.
The Group will seek to further an integrated approach to the work of non-governmental organizations whose primary focus is on social development, and to supplement the activities of the existing NGOs when necessary, working cooperatively with them, to augment the role of NGOs in the formulation of creating better lives for the people of Vietnam.
Membership in the Group is open to those who wish to help with the solicitation
of funds and/or assist in the work being done in Vietnam.
Individuals may become members by applying to the CEO or representatives now in Vietnam.
Donations to The Vietnamese Children’s Wheelchair and Prosthetics Group are made by various religious, military and community organization located in the United States and from personal contributions by individuals. Contributions will also be accepted from companies and corporations located in Vietnam.
