Vietnamese Children's Wheelchair and Prosthetics Group

This year in addition to delivering wheelchairs to the children in the Mekong district of Vietnam, we have decided to add surgeries and prosthetics to our accomplishments in Vietnam. The children chosen are between three and sixteen years old.

Also on this trip, we will be visiting the Lam Dong Association For The Blind and the Blind Center in Da Lat, Vietnam. Although, it is not part of our wheelchair agenda, we have always been ready to help out where we are needed. Ron Hunt has been volunteering many hours of his time there in the past months.

Ron has also been volunteering his time at Mổ Côi Thị Nghè, The Center For Handicapped Children. Photos of his work at the Center can be found HERE.

date: October 18-29, 2009

location: This year we will deliver wheelchairs in the Mekong district. We are looking at the provinces of Tay Ninh, Long An, Tien Giang or Ben Tre for our deliveries. Also, this year we will be visiting Da Nang to meet about 15 children that are in need of surgery and prosthetics.

Over the past few years, we've shared many new adventures as friends. But the most enjoyable experience was working with the children in Vietnam. Here are some of the photos that have been taken over the years.
